Perron is a good player, I've always rooted for him. Sure wish the Blues still had him now.

Perron is the opposite of a proven scorer. He's the model of inconsistency, but I like the game he brings with him away from the puck. I hope his scoring continues, but what history is proven is he's soon to dry up and be spotty from here on out.

You can be a proven scorer and still inconsistent. Both Perron and Smith are 20-goal scorers multiple times over, but they're both also inconsistent.

I do agree that the goals will dry up a bit for Perron and the team in general. I suspect it will be their goaltending and the points they've banked which will carry them (or not) to the playoffs.

I have tickets for the next time Vegas plays the Blues here at Scottrade, can't wait. We should have won the first meeting.

So is it for sure a done deal that MAF gets the Carolina game tomorrow? Of course he'll get the Pens game but just wondering. Maybe they want to get him a game in before facing his old mates.

Either way i think the split with Suuubs should be pretty much 50/50 for a while and then just ride the hot hand.

Not a done deal, but Gallant has already said he expects it, pending talking with Dave Prior. That's more forthcoming than he has been about the starter. Usually tells us day of.
